Marie Söderberg - Conductor
Marie Söderberg works as a conductor with orchestras, mainly brass and symphony orchestras, and conducts choirs in Sweden and abroad.
Marie Söderberg is educated at the Ingesund Academy of Music, Örebro Academy of Music and also has a bachelor's degree in conducting from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm.
Marie Söderberg has been or is the conductor of several choirs, for examlpe Silverdal Choir, Amoroso Choir and Danderyd Choir. She has also conducted orchestras such as the Gothenburg Wind Orchestra and several other orchestras around the country.
Marie Söderberg also has a teacher's degree for teaching as an instrumental and ensemble teacher in flute from the Ingesund College of Music in Arvika. She also has a Suzuki teacher's degree in flute.
Marie Söderberg is also very interested in getting the very young children to play music. She has worked as a leader for children's Music and Play and attended several courses focusing on children's/baby singing and rhythms.
Since spring 2023 Marie Söderberg is employed by Opus Norden to conduct the choirs
